BPSC out in first attempt itself
Question- First of all congratulations to you. Which was your attempt in BPSC?
Answer- It was my first attempt.
Question- What subject did you keep as an optional subject?
Answer- I had kept economics.
Question- Why keep economics only?
Answer- I have done my graduation in computer science. from IIT Guwahati. There was no computer science in it, so I liked economics in other subjects.
Question- Engineers people are getting more selected in BPSC. Do they read a lot?
Answer- Yes, just need a chance to read.
Question- How many hours do these engineers study?
Answer- I study for eight to ten hours.
Success credit to mom and dad
Question- Who contributed to your success?
Answer: My mother and my father.
Question- What do your mother and father do and where do they live?
Answer- My father, BK Srivastava is an assistant engineer in the rural works department and mother is the headmistress of Bharti Kumari Primary School. He lives in Aurangabad.
Question- How many siblings do you have?
Answer- We are five siblings. Has two elder sisters, one elder brother and one younger brother.
Question- What did you find special in the BPSC exam?
Answer- There is little overlapping but there are many questions related to Bihar. These questions were more difficult for me. I was not much updated with the current affairs of Bihar.
Question- When did you do your graduation?
Answer- I graduated in the year 2016.
Question- Have you been preparing since then?
Answer- No, I am working as a Senior Software Engineer in a company in Chennai.
Question- Are you married?
Answer: No, I am single.
Eight to ten hours for studying as well as working.
Question- What do you find most important in your personality?
Answer- Mom and dad had a lot of support in my success. Dad was very active. Got time management lessons from mom. She goes to school and takes care of all the household chores. I kept learning a lot from him. Along with working, I used to take out eight to ten hours for studies. Being working has been beneficial for me.
Question- Have you given UPSC also?
Answer- I gave UPSC once. Mine did not happen in his PT.
Question- Will you give UPSC again in future?
Answer- Yes I will. But my wish is to stay in Bihar and do a job.

Q- Which service have you selected?
Answer- I have chosen the post of Assistant Tax Commissioner. It is in Bihar Finance Service.
Question- Why didn't you choose the police service?
Answer- Parents also had the desire. I am computer software engineer. Worked in it for six years. Going to the police service would have caused more contrast, so did not choose the police service.
Question- This time there was no post in the administrative service. Maybe that's why most want finance services?
Answer- Yes, if I had a post from the administrative service, I would have chosen SDM.
Question- What is your hobby?
Answer- This question was also asked in the interview. If I get time, I exercise. I am fitness conscious.
Question- Which personality attracts you the most?
Answer- Raja Ram Mohan Roy impresses me a lot. He talked about women's rights many years ago. His views were very progressive.
