Who is Kanika Tekriwal?
Kanika Tekriwal did her schooling from South India and then did her undergraduate degree in Economics and Diploma in Design in Mumbai. Born in a Marwari family, Kanika is an MBA graduate. His father used to do real estate and chemical business.
The Journey of JetSetGo started in the year 2012. This company is a plane aggregator, which operates, manages and flies planes for the owners. Also, the company provides private jets and helicopters on rent to the people. Kanika also calls JetSetGo the 'Uber of the skies'.
Kanika says, 'This idea went on in my mind for 3 years. But when I took out my sketch board and started working on it, I was diagnosed with cancer. Because of this it got a little late. Thankfully, till the time I got well, no one else in the country started anything like this.

This startup provides chartered aircrafts and helicopters across India. It is one of the pioneers in air taxis with intra-city connectivity in India using Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft. It uses mix technology, unique maintenance and smart management. This reduces the maintenance cost. Airtime increases and ground time decreases. This not only adds to the mileage but also reduces the cost of chartered planes to a great extent.
How did the idea of starting an aviation based startup come about?
When Kanika did research in the aviation industry, she came to know that the privately chartered aircraft industry is full of touts and operators. Anyone who wants to use a private jet will have to approach a broker or private operator, who will recommend the jet or helicopter and get a hefty commission in return.
